Garlic Parmesan Corn on the Cob

Description

A buttery, savory, and incredibly simple side dish with rich garlic, Parmesan, and a touch of Italian seasoning.

 


Ingredients

  • → 8 mini corn on the cobs (or 4 full cobs cut in half)
  • → 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
  • → 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • → 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • → 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • → 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • → 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • → 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • → 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the corn and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.
  • In a small bowl, melt the butter. Whisk in the minced garlic, salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  • Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until well combined.
  • Generously coat each corn cob with the garlic Parmesan sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can also cook the corn on the grill for a smoky flavor.
  • For the best flavor, use fresh garlic and freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
  • This is a great recipe for a last-minute side dish.
  • To make it a bit more decadent, you can roll the corn in extra Parmesan cheese before serving.
