Description
A nostalgic, gooey, and utterly delicious handheld dessert that’s like a s’more you can eat without a campfire.
Ingredients
Scale
- → For the mini pies:
- 14.1 oz package refrigerated pie dough
- 2 bars chocolate, chopped into small pieces
- 1/2 cup miniature marshmallows
- 3/4 cup crushed graham crackers, keep half for topping
- 2 tbsp salted butter, melted
- Water (for sealing edges)
- → For serving (optional):
- Chocolate syrup, for dipping
- Marshmallow cream, for dipping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the pie dough on a lightly floured surface. Cut out 16 shapes using a round or rectangular cutter.
- In a small bowl, mix the crushed graham crackers and melted butter.
- Place 8 of the dough shapes on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle a small amount of the graham cracker mixture on each, leaving a border.
- Top the graham cracker mixture with chopped chocolate and marshmallows.
- Place the remaining dough shapes on top. Press the edges to seal, then use a fork to crimp all the way around.
- Brush the tops of the pies with a little water and sprinkle with the remaining graham cracker topping.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Don’t overfill your pies, as they will burst open during baking.
- Ensure you crimp the edges firmly with a fork to prevent leaks.
- For the best texture, work with the pie dough while it is still chilled.
- Use chopped chocolate bars instead of chocolate chips for a better melt.
